Shloimeh Blonder – Director
Shloimeh Blonder has been with The Chicken Soup Shelter since its founding in 2007, overseeing its growth from a makeshift organisation operating out of a residential basement into an operation running multiple projects with a budget of over £600,000 a year. Mr Blonder is responsible for day to day management of the soup kitchen, fundraising, and distributing funds on behalf of the trustees.
Abraham Barchorin – Trustee
Abraham Barchorin was a founding member of the The Chicken Soup Shelter and is passionate about helping the ‘invisible’ victims of poverty. He is a leading community activist and a trustee of a number of charities focusing on relief of poverty and social justice.
Pinchas Benedikt – Trustee
Pinchas Benedikt is a specialist in the field of education and plays an important role in supporting local children and young people through educational initiatives.
Joseph Margulies – Trustee
Joseph Margulies is a community activist who plays a leading role in advocating for children with special needs and mental health problems. He brings to The Chicken Soup Shelter an understanding of the special challenges face by families dealing with the effects of mental health crises.
